Calculations

You can do various cycling-related calculations here. Where more than one number is required (list of sprockets; times hours, minutes, seconds) just enter a list separated by blank space; no commas. /bk The gear calculator is a simple version; for the Real McCoy see Sheldon Brown's rendition, or MachineHead software which you may well prefer to this as it has a wide range of cycling software.

New version November '06 the old version is still available

In some cases below you can enter a list of numbers, for instance the time in hours minutes and seconds. The list should be separated by blanks, not commas or anything else. 2 4 7 would represent 2 hours 4 minutes 7 seconds. You can omit numbers from the right so 3 2 would be 3 hours 2 minutes 0 seconds. When there's no hours you'd have to write 0 3 2 to get 3 minutes 2 seconds.
